Audio Broadcast Test
Test your computer setup and software before you sign up for Sri Harold Klemp's talk via Internet audio broadcast.
First you need to know if you can hear an audio broadcast on your computer.
Your computer will need a sound card and speakers as well as software
to receive the broadcast. If you hear the test message when you click
on the play button (
) below,
then your computer is properly set up to receive the broadcast.
(If you do not see the RealPlayer controls in the box below,
you probably need to install RealPlayer.) Your next
step is to
sign up,
make your payment, and receive your user name and password.
If you could not hear the message, you need to check that the volume and speakers on your computer are working. If you got a message about needing a RealPlayer plug-in, then you need to download this software. A downloadable copy of the free basic RealPlayer is available by clicking on the icon below.
Important: Sometimes Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or Web browsers will automatically disconnect users if no activity is detected for a specified time. The specified time varies widely between ISPs and browsers.
To determine if your ISP and browser are set up to allow you to receive long broadcasts (over an hour), we recommend that you test your system before the seminar by listening to a broadcast at Real Guide. Several free programs are always available. If you are disconnected during a broadcast, please contact your ISP or browser manufacturer to resolve the issue. Eckankar has no control over whether or not you could be disconnected.
Help is also available to you from RealNetworks Customer Support.
