Finding Buried Treasure
Dream Guidance Leads a Woman's Heart to True Love
By JA
Before I found the teachings of ECK, I didn't care much about finding love and getting married again.
But as the teachings of the Mahanta, my inner spiritual guide, opened my heart to divine love, I realized I wanted to experience the joys that come with a happy marriage.
I wanted to find true love.
In time, I married again and had a beautiful baby girl. I loved my new daughter, but the marriage didn't work out, and I found myself divorced once more. I still hadn't found true love.
I didn't want to make any more "mistakes." So this time I decided to ask the Mahanta to help me.
Every time someone asked me on a date, I'd ask the Inner Master for a dream to show me if this was the right man for me.
What followed was often bleak and frustrating.
I'd dream I was walking down a path carrying a basket of manure. Or I'd dream the vessel I was preparing to drink from was cracked. Dreams like these clearly meant my date was not the right man for me.
Much to my dismay, these "no" dreams continued for nearly two years. It looked like Mr. Right was nowhere in sight.
Meanwhile, I'd known Bob for seven years. I thought he was nice but not my type.
But because we were both members of ECKANKAR and active in the same spiritual community, we bumped into each other quite a bit. He'd even asked me out once, but I didn't even bother asking for a dream. I just said no.
One day, I needed help with a computer class I was taking, and I decided to call Bob.
We talked for a long time on the phone, and suddenly I saw Bob in a different light. Maybe he was my type after all! We made arrangements to meet a few days later.
The night after the phone call, I had trouble sleeping. I began to have a strange series of dreams. They were snippets of lifetimes I'd shared with Bob in the past.
Sometimes I was the man and he was the woman, and other times our roles were reversed. These dream experiences went on throughout the night.
By the time Friday arrived, the computer class was the last thing on my mind. I was downright intrigued with Bob. When we met, we talked comfortably like old friends. Over the next week, we chatted on the phone and went out on a few friendly dates.
Then I knew it was time to ask for my dream.
That night as I went to bed, I timidly asked the Mahanta, "Is this Mr. Right?" I was afraid I would be disappointed again. But I left the question in the hands of the Inner Master and went to sleep. Soon I had a dream.
I am swimming in a vast, beautiful ocean. Diving to the bottom of the sea, I discover buried treasure! I swim back to the surface with sparkling jewels streaming from my hand.
I go down for a second dive and come up with more brilliant jewels and a diamond-studded crown.
The third dive brings me back to the surface with a wallet filled with money!
When I awoke I was so happy.
Bob was the one for me!
The Inner Master, who is also the Dream Master, was telling me that this relationship would bring me all the spiritual wealth I had been waiting for.
Now I had my answer. I opened my heart to Bob completely and never looked back. We were married one month later.
That was twenty years ago, and my marriage to Bob really has been a dream come true. Through the guidance of the Mahanta, I found my "Mr. Right."
Today my life is filled with more spiritual treasure than I ever imagined, and I owe it all to the help of the Dream Master!
