The Fire of God

A Woman Receives a Miraculous Gift in a Dream

My daughter, Fidelia, was desperate to have a child.

She had been married for over eight years, and in all that time she had not once been pregnant. She finally gave up trying to conceive and decided to adopt.

I said to her, "Please, Fidelia, don't give up hope yet! Why don't you write to the Mahanta first? He can help you."

"But, Mama," she said, "I have been writing to the Mahanta, and nothing has happened! I'm so tired of waiting!"

My heart ached for my daughter. It was hard to see her in so much pain. Yet I knew the Mahanta wouldn't let us down. If it was divine will for my daughter to have a child of her own, then it would happen.

Inwardly I said to the Master, "My daughter and I love and trust you, Mahanta. Please help her!"

A few months later, I had a dream.

I am standing with the Mahanta, and we are talking together like old friends. Suddenly, he hands me three babies.

"What do you want me to do with these children?" I ask. "I already have six babies of my own!"

With a smile, the Master replies, "Grace, you can offer the babies to anyone you wish!"

I look around and see two young ladies I know. I really like them and feel they would be good mothers, so I hand each one of them a baby. They are so happy.

Then I ask, "Can I reserve this one for myself?"

The Mahanta laughs and says, "Feel free!"

I smile down at the handsome baby boy in my arms.

"Then this one is for my daughter, Fidelia!" I say.

When I woke up, I was so happy! Joyfully, I began singing HU, thanking God and the Mahanta for such a wonderful experience.

I was eager to see what would happen next.

Later that day, Fidelia called me from her home in the United States. I told her that I'd had a dream with the Mahanta and was handed three babies to pass along to others, but I had reserved one for myself.

She was surprised.

"Mama! Did you reserve the baby for me?" she asked.

"Well, Fidelia," I replied, "You will just have to wait and see!"

She seemed disappointed with my answer, but I didn't want to raise her hopes too much. I hoped Fidelia would have an experience for herself.

So I simply told her to watch her dreams and see what happened.

The next day, Fidelia called me again. She was so happy.

"Mama, I had a dream last night!" she said excitedly.

"In the dream, you handed me a baby boy. You said, 'Fidelia, this is your baby. He is the one the Mahanta offered me the other day, and I reserved him for you.'

"Oh, Mama, he is such a handsome boy! I took the baby from you, then danced around and around, hugging him and telling him I love him so much! Mama, I am so happy!"

We were both overjoyed that Fidelia had experienced this gift from the Mahanta for herself.

About a month later, Fidelia called me with wonderful news. She was pregnant!

As the months passed, Fidelia and I talked on the phone often. Whenever we spoke about the birth of the baby, I heard the Mahanta whisper that his name was Josiah.

Finally, I told Fidelia that I thought the baby's name was Josiah.

"What does it mean?" she asked me. I confessed I didn't know.

So I looked it up and discovered that Josiah was a Hebrew name meaning "the fire of God"! Inwardly, I heard the Mahanta say that "the fire of God" meant the ECK and Its loving essence. What a perfect name!

My lovely grandson was born just one year after my dream with the Mahanta. When my daughter held her son for the first time, she wept tears of joy.

"Mama," she said, "Our dreams have come true! I am a mother at last, and now my life is complete! Mahanta, thank you!"

My grandson, Benjamin Josiah, is a miracle baby, and the Inner Master, Wah Z, is a miracle worker. It is such a sweet privilege to be in ECK and have the gift of an Inner and Outer Master. I can never thank the Mahanta enough for such an amazing and wonderful gift of love!
