I want to know how the Mahanta can become the ECK Itself. Is the ECK a spiritual energy similar to bioelectric energy?

Dear Sam,

We can, of course, think of the ECK (Holy Spirit) as a spiritual energy. Yet It is that and a whole lot more. It’s the very Voice of Sugmad (God), the Creative Voice that issues from the Divine Speaker.

The ECK is like a mighty river. It nourishes all life. So everything depends upon It for existence. That’s because everything is of It.

Bioelectric energy is a far more fundamental form of this Voice of God that our human instruments can measure in plants and animals. It is a product of the God energy, which is stepped down and down. Then It’s in a form we can use. It’s gone through a divine transformer.

Now, what of the Mahanta himself?

The main difference between him and all else is that he is the ECK. He is the God power Itself.

How, then, did he become the ECK?

It happened when he accepted the Rod of ECK Power at midnight on October 22, 1981. Sugmad had appointed him. All the power of the Holy Spirit flowed into him.

The Mahanta, the Living ECK Master is life itself. He has the ability to release people from the chains of karma and lift them into the higher worlds of God.
